CCW Advisory Board

Father George E. Schultze, SJ:
CCW Spiritual Advisor, Fr George is President and Rector of St. Patrick Seminary and University in Menlo Park, California. He has an undergraduate degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell, an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in Social Ethics from the University of Southern California. Prior to entering the Society of Jesus, he was a National Labor Relations Board Agent and a member of the National Labor Relations Board Union.

John Hamlon:
CCW Educational Advisor, John earned his MA in theology from the University of San Francisco and did doctoral work in systematic theology at the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley. He was the associate director of the St. Ignatius Institute, University of San Francisco, from 1994 to 2001. Currently he conducts classes on John Paul II’s Theology of the Body for parishes and groups within the Diocese of Sacramento. He regularly gives talks to engaged couples who are participating in the Diocesan Pre-Cana program.

Ed Hopfner:
CCW Educational Advisor, Ed is the director of Marriage and Family Life for the Archdiocese of San Francisco. A popular speaker, Ed has taught classes and conducted study groups and workshops on Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, and has extensive experience in sexuality and chastity education as well as pro-life efforts. Originally from Seattle, Ed has a master’s degree in Theology from the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology and currently resides near Berkeley.

Jim Brady:
Married, with 2 children, Jim holds a Master’s degree in Education and studied for two years at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology in Berkeley, CA.  He has been speaking and teaching with his trademark humor and enthusiasm for 35 years, focusing this last decade on St. John Paul II’s teachings on love and the mystery of the human person.  Jim considers Love and Responsibility to be a great precursor for understanding the Theology of the Body. His mission is to keep this extraordinary text at the forefront of the saint’s prolific works.

Chris Miloslavich:
CCW Creative Content Director, Chris is a seasoned professional in the San Francisco Bay Area production community. He is also following a strong, personal calling to be a part of a movement to make Catholic media more appealing by presenting media that educates and also promotes civil discourse on hot-button topics. Chris is a versatile editor with over 20 years of experience in both audio and video production. He is the owner of Milomix Productions. Chris is married with two children.

Christine Broesamle:
CCW European Liaison, Christine converted from an actively Evangelical Protestant family and is a graduate of the Saint Ignatius Institute at the University of San Francisco. She has a Master of International Negotiation and Policy-Making from the Graduate Institute of International Affairs and Development, Geneva, Switzerland. Currently studying Church Communications in Rome, Christine founded the Solidarity House Network to serve traumatized countries in Africa, with a presence at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
